Given the continued spread of Covid-19 globally, convening a major sporting event,
which is open to the public and allows thousands of international travelers and local
fans to interact in close proximity Bahrain has in consultation with international
partners and the Kingdom’s national health Taskforce decided that the Formula 1 race
goes ahead only as a televised event.
For the reason Bahrain’s national health Taskforce has made this decision it is a case
of force majeure.
As general information we want to let you know that in case of event cancellation for
reasons of force majeure the refund of tickets is not mandatory.
In coordination with the Bahrain International Circuit we are pleased to announce that
a refund for purchased tickets will be made.
The ticket refund concerns the ticket price; delivery costs and services charges are
NOT included in the refund.
